Integra is a NGO, whose stated mission is to create economic opportunities for a life of dignity for the vulnerable.

Integra began work in Slovakia 1995, with a Vision to develop "business solutions to poverty". Since then, Integra has spread to Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Kenya, Sudan and Ethiopia. A wide range of training and investment activities support poverty alleviation through investing creating opportunities for vulnerable groups to climb their way out of poverty.

The Malaika project began informally in 2005, and became a registered Slovak association in 2007. In 2008 Malaika became a project of the Integra Foundation.

Integra is registered with the Ministry of the Interior, Slovakia, registration number: 203/Na-96/346.

Integra is a member of the Integral Alliance Integral Alliance (www.integralalliance.org).

Who is Integra Malaika?

Within the Integra Foundation, we have a Malaika team working on all Malaika projects. The team includes:

• Katarína Staňová – Project Coordinator, Contact with donors
• Jana Bieliková – Marketing Director
• Caulene Bussard – Africa Partner Liason

Malaika promoters – we are currently forming a team of Malaika promoters who will be trained and available to present Malaika projects in schools, churches and other groups.
